This is my set from the incredible Hindsight New Year’s Eve Event 2024. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made the night unforgettable—the energy in that room was unreal!

Precaution Mix Series Part 26 - Pawel C

Was talking to a few mates who I used to go to Atmosphere at The Grove (Seaton) with about the great tunes we'd here there, and we'd often travel up in my mates 106 or I'd go up on the Train with mates from Exeter, and then ended up playing there quite a few times.  

We'd collect the CD packs as well and sets and these are some favs.  

Wanted to do a mix ahead of this weekend's gig in Bournemouth full of some big tunes that I discovered there, as well as records we broke there in our sets and just remind me of the place.  Shame the venue is no more, had many awesome nights there!!

Recorded live at A Cheeky Little Christmas with Timewarp, Saturday 14th December 2024 the using an ambient recorder in order to try and capture the whole atmosphere, Timewarp are happy to present “The Live Sets”. As with anything live there can be discrepancies in sound and these recordings are no different but they have been mastered in order to try and provide the best audio experience we can. Timewarp is a vinyl only night based in Bournemouth, UK showcasing local talent and legends from the past 30 years bringing you the best in Trance, Hard Trance, Techno and Hard House.

This recording is from Hard Trance Europe (HTE) head honcho Nick The Kid who closed our room at The Vault with a 60 minute onslaught of vinyl weapons from both back in the day and the here and now. Featuring brand new for 2024 tracks and releases pressed to vinyl, see if you can hear the crowd as Nick dishes out a few copies at the end. Crank this one up!

Sadly the recordings of this didn't save and this was redone digitally, it is also missing both the clangy mixes and Si The Sigh's MC'ing on the night, however was such a good vibe I couldn't resist redoing the set again from last weekend in Bournemouth for Timewarp.

I have given Jake some instructions on undeleting temp files on his computer, so if he manages to salvage the original recording/it turns up I'll gladly upload the orig too. 

Once the initial anxieties of skipping vinyl, missing cue points and being on your toes a hell of a lot more were out of the way, it was very fun to play.  

Went right back to my roots with some faster trance (in its broadest sense) I grew up mixing and some other bits I recently found name of, and couldn't resist dropping of my own a couple tunes on vinyl.

Big shout to all who made it down on the night, was lovely to see you all!
