New artist LOUV is a Naarm/Melbourne-based producer and vocalist. Taking a deeply cathartic and intuitive approach towards electronic music she teeters on the line of pop sensibility and experimental. Through both her live performance and recorded music LOUV invites listeners into her safe sonic world of liberation. "My songs delve into very human experiences of pain, awakening, heartbreak, sexuality and liberation" says LOUV. "By giving our struggles and pain a safe space to feel and move through." 
 
It was through the creation of the co-founded queer collective Fem Fantasy that LOUV came to life. It was during the events and in the lead up that LOUV was able to hone her craft. Following on from the success of several shows including a sold-out Midsummer event where LOUV shared the stage with Lupa J, The Merindas and more – LOUV now releases her music through local collective Provenance Records. 

While LOUV is only just now releasing her own music she has already given listeners a taste of her style by collaborating on Aphir’s latest album Republic of Paradise. LOUV's debut single Power, is a quest to find empowerment and strength within. As she fights to reclaim Power from outer and inner forces she discovers it from within herself, where no one and nothing can take it away.
