Douze and Lo Galbo - a French / Dutch producer collaboration - have released ‘Dawn’ the original motion picture soundtrack to their own film concept. Written and produced almost entirely outside the box on original 80’s analogue hardware, this album is about the music and its ability to become a catalyst for imagination.

To create a film score for a fictional 80’s movie, the duo immersed themselves in soundtracks of the time to understand the process and sounds (they quote early 80’s soundtracks from Tangerine Dream and Giorgio Moroder as examples of how real songs were interspersed with other more introspective interludes) before outlining a short synopsis of ‘Dawn’ and the main scenes that might exist in the film. Using keywords as a guide they began creating music to breathe life into the story and emotions of each scene.

Musically ‘Dawn - the original motion picture soundtrack’ delivers on its concept. From the lush awakening of the title track to the darker undertones of ‘Cheerleading Warm Up’ suggesting trouble to come, to the pulsating synths and teenage emotions of ‘Passion’, through to the dark, rebellious guitar riffs of ‘The Fallen Outlaw Part 1 (The Wrong Crowd)’, there is the sense that Dawn’s typical teen life is precarious. Her journey through struggles with powerful new emotions is easy to imagine in the descending, helpless chords of ‘Dawn Falling’ the uncertain innocence of ‘Dear Diary’, and the heart-racing, dangerous arpeggios in ‘The Fallen Outlaw Part 2 (Chased)’. The listener creates their own story as the downtempo warmth of ‘In The Shadows’ sees self-doubt articulated by guest vocalist Yota, while the hopeful chimes of ‘Redemption In Disguise’ tease a resolution before the album concludes with the emotive and uplifting ‘End Titles (One Last Ride)’.

For each listener, the music will evoke different images but across 16 quality tracks, Douze and Lo Galbo connect with real emotion and Dawn’s journey comes to life.

Produced by imprint owner https://soundcloud.com/_douze, the track is a real journey through unconscious eighties pop signature sounds & modern indie dance production techniques. As though it was plucked right out of Human League's "Dare" LP, this synth-pop fantasy is rich with Depeche Mode-esque influences, which is the core of Rhayader's song writing.

'Innervision' is taken to new highs courtesy of Douze's ethereal vision of the original, creating a number ready to level the dancefloor. Parisian producer https://soundcloud.com/daytona-music delivers some classy funk electro beats finished with a gratin of jazz chords. Finally, Strasbourg based producer  - and Rhayader's neighbour - https://soundcloud.com/marteau-boy, brings back some early new wave action with the help of guitars à la New Order, catchy basslines and illustrious synth work.

L.O.V.E LTD (standing for Living On Variable Emotions) is Douze's brand new label. Best known for his collaborations with long time collaborator Kris Menace and unreleased productions with Alan Braxe; with EPs on Discotexas & Animal Language and remixes for the likes of Robin Thicke, Sally Shapiro and Holly Johnson - the Parisian producer decided it was time to bring his vision of music out there.

L.O.V.E. Ltd is back with the fall, expanding its sonic horizons, welcoming UK newcomer https://soundcloud.com/demigodsmusic! Also known as Gary Harper, the London-based producer brings his wonderful synthwave touch to what the label has been trying to explore for the past few years. Expect lushy pads, gated snares and breathtaking melodies.

First off, "Queen Of Diamonds" sets the mood. With its gorgeous layers, the track slowly takes you on a journey between the past and the present moment. Washed out vocal samples and epic solos are only there if you weren't sure yet that this one is a pure gem!

"Marshmallow" takes a slower turn on the pop-ish side. Innocent textures, airy arpeggios, and that melody that will get stuck in your head for days. Just close your eyes and remember the last time you had cotton candy on a merry-go- round.

Last but certainly not least, "Those Eyes": it might be closing the package but this one will most likely be your favorite. Intense arps, deep and mellow chords, chopped vocals and heartthrobbing bass; this one is a definitive hit!

Label runner https://soundcloud.com/_douze immediately fell in love with these three, which he signed immediately and polished to give the whole thing the sound it deserved.

3615 Nuits Blanches are back! The Parisian duo gets just in time before the end of the year with a last (re)touch on their first album. Consider this as a final 2017 Holiday treat!

When About Last Night, their first LP was released last March, the duo received a lot of requests for longest and club-friendly versions. That what motivated Antonine & Arnault to work on a brand new version of their album, with another vision in mind.

Like an imaginary Goldfrapp tune extended by Shep Pettibone, or John Jellybean Benitez doing a dub version of a Chromatics’ track, these new versions work well everywhere. Especially in the clubs.
