Let me introduce you to a dear friend of mine, Jakara! This woman is one of those people you honestly think wears a Superwoman cape - like a real one. I thought caregiving for one parent was hard while still being young, working, having to manage your own house and your own life - but try doing that for BOTH of your parents. Caregivers are a population of people that are often overlooked and are often unsupported and I'm so grateful I got to have Jakara on with me to share what life looks like for her, the tools she's found useful and she also gives some really amazing resources for those people who are going down the road of dementia and/or Alzheimer's from someone who's been up and down that block - there are some secrets everyone should know!

Episode 8 - Caregiving 2.0 with Jakara Hubbard

If you've been following me for a while you've probably heard me talk about "my energy healer friend Tara" - ring a bell? Most likely. I talk about her a ton because she's really helped me become more aware of my potency as my life's creator and really helped me step into my power as such. There's so much amazing awareness that comes when someone invites you to think about things from a different perspective and really helps you play with energy in a super non-threatening and non-woo way. What I love so much about Tara is her authenticity and her story about how she got to where she is - it's not the story one might expect.

I personally regard Tara as one of my key players in helping me energetically clear out the things that no longer serve me and shift into a higher vibration to create the bigger vision of what I see as my life's work. Episode 9 - Unleashing Your Superpowers with Tara McCallam

I’m really excited to do a bit of a relaunch of the podcast. You know, it’s funny, I loved where the podcast originally went. I loved getting to interview people who had amazing stories and get to ask them all types of questions, especially considering most of these people had  never really been interviewed about their stories before. I still completely plan on bringing those stories to you as they find me, but I got to thinking about this brand new opening that’s been happening in my life and seeing how it wants to be funneled to you in a way that’s helpful. Not only am I connected to so many people with amazing stories, but I’m connected to so many people who have helped others create amazing stories - kind of a death and rebirth into the new. As I'm going through things, I know the collective is going through things and it's my joy to share what I'm doing to roll with the punches, celebrate the highs, heal through the lows and live this amazing life we get. Episode 10 - Recalibrate to Reincarnate - New Chapters

I got to thinking about other areas of my life and this morning I thought about a specific piece of my life where I’m feeling a little misaligned. So I do what I do best and I whip out my notebook and I start writing things down - the good and a bad, a pros and cons list of sorts. After I felt like I got done, I realized that my cons list all had a theme - expectation. I wasn’t happy with how things were going because I felt like I wanted them to flow more freely and instead it felt like I was forcing things to happen. I realized I was operating here more out of force than flow. This episode is about just that, forcing versus flowing and maybe some things to think about when you catch yourself in the force.

Episode 11 - Force vs. Flow

I got to thinking - we’re always going through something painful. I think that’s the human journey, we’re always learning, we’re always growing. Even if we’re at a standstill in life, that can still be its own special form of pain. What we do with that pain though is our choice. We can either let it destroy us - completely eat us alive from the inside out, and most often allow some kind of physical illness to manifest in the body as a result. Or…. we could use the pain as fuel to create something.
