Future Proof Sound Fest is micro festival of sights, ideas, sharing and sound. This first installment occupies the grounds of The Taipei University of Education where sounds of the imagined future and sounds of nowhere will intersect amongst a collection of ramshackle public galleries. Showcasing live electronic music that represents the breadth of Taipei's fledgling scene, these are artists that inhabit the unnamed spaces between dance, experimental and and pop music. The gathering aims to blur the lines between electro-pop, techno, noise, psychedelic and ambient music. Unified by a common theme of sonic experimentation and curiosity, each artist will explore the furthest reaches of outer and inner space.
