Love Above Records is proud to present its latest offering with this brand new EP - Silent Tonality by legendary Detroit DJ and producer, Alton Miller. 

The Detroit Music Institute founder has graced us with a 5-track EP of sophisticated house music that boasts a myriad of modern house sounds. Deep rhythmic passages, soulful vocals and organic textures all in Alton’s usual signature style.

The A side kicks off with “Soccio Mode”. A mid tempo tune setting the tone with driving rhythms, dubbed chords & bass sure to rattle the subs of any venue. The A2 track “Blind” features an amazing vocal performance by South African singer Bantu Soul. A soulful house classic.

On the flip side, we take off with the B1 track "Make It 2'. Driving drums weave their way over stabbed keys and bouncing bass-lines, while melodies float nicely over the top. 
B2 sees a dynamic shift with the track “Faith”.  A percussive number with sparse vocals chops, marimba plucks and warm pads. Finishing off the EP is the aptly named track “See It Thru” on B3, which lifts away with layers of lush synth and organ work, bringing the EP to a rolling finish.

LAR003 is available for pre-order from Tuesday 24 October 2023.
