love+war is the brain-child of writer-producer team Coury Palermo & Ron Robinson.  The Nashville based duo returns this year with their sprawling, covers concept album, Nine Lives.  
 
What began as a hold-over album while writing and recording their debut full-length quickly became an “all attention,” multi-format tour de force.  There was little left unturned while curating this meticulous collection, which boasts a nine-song album (available on CD/Vinyl below!), short-story themed portrait book (Portrait Novella - also below!), and video trilogy.

Chosen from a list of over fifty contenders, the nine songs span an eclectic artist roster from the 70’s (Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way”), 80’s (Springsteen’s “Dancing In the Dark”), 90’s (Depeche Mode’s “Policy of Truth”), and early 00’s (Coldplay’s “Trouble”) – creating a seamless collection of soulful classics.

I grew up in North Dakota where I began my performing life in musical theater in local high school and community theater productions.  After high school I moved to New York City to pursue a career in music.  In 2008 my video, What's Your Name, was named a top ten video of the year by the Logo Channel's Click List, and the song would win Song of the Year by the Stonewall Foundation for the Arts.  My music has been heard on radio stations in the US and Canada and I have had the pleasure to perform on stages across the US and at the Banff Center in Alberta, Canada.

I have released four independent albums of original music; Proof, Every Year Around Xmas Time, Live for the Light, and Mvto.  I am currently working on my new album, set to be released in summer 2024.  My music can be heard on all streaming platforms.  
​
In 2022 I was featured in the Levis Pride campaign for my work and activism with Two-Spirit people and decolonizing sexuality.

I now call the redwoods of California home.
