Since their inception in 2013 Lovecoast has been delivering a new sound that won’t go unnoticed. By bringing "together modern day indie pop and blue-eyed ’70s R&B” (Ride the Tempo), the band has created something bouncy and infectious. Lovecoast finds inspiration in modern acts like the Cat Empire and Lake Street Dive, and classic legends such as Billie Holiday and Bruce Springsteen. Uniquely fresh and nostalgic all at once, Lovecoast is an up-and-coming act from the West Coast of Canada to watch.

Since their inception in 2013 Lovecoast has been delivering a new sound that won’t go unnoticed. After a successful 2015 playing alongside Canadian acts such as Jocelyn Alice and The Fast Romantics, and gracing stages like Pemberton Music Festival 2015, Lovecoast hasn’t let 2016 slow them down. Along with their newly released single ‘The Floor’, this 5-piece soul-pop group played JUNOfest 2016, were named Band of the Month for April 2016 at The Zone 91.3 in Victoria and the May 2016 #VanCOVER winners at LG 104.3 for their cover of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back".

Just like their 2014 debut EP “Chasing Tides”, Lovecoast’s newest single ‘The Floor’ was produced and engineered by JUNO nominated producer/engineer Tom Dobrzanski (Hey Ocean, Said the Whale, We Are The City) at Monarch Studios in Vancouver. Once again, Tom brought out the best in the band as ‘The Floor’ glimmers with mature pop stylings and 80-synth inspiration, truly speaking to Lovecoast's dance driven nature and tight musicality. The band also has had the pleasure of working closely on their new music and industry approach with CIRAA mentor Eon Sinclair of Bedouin Soundclash. 

Now a strong five-piece with their eyes set firmly on the horizon, Lovecoast is an up-and-coming band to watch.
