Loving kindness meditation is a mindfulness practice that supports the minds afflictions; misperception, ego, attachment, avoidance, and fear. This practice supports emotions from anger, rage, jealousy, irritation, depression, anxiety and more. Living in the world in this current state can be devastating, especially to empaths and highly sensitives. I Am A Goddess Affirmations Restorative Mindfullness Practice

In this Yoga Nidra Guided Awareness, we will contemplate love and love is rest. Yoga Nidra is not a practice but a state. Yoga Nidra can be translated as yogic sleep, awareful sleep, divine sleep, or conscious sleep. The result of retaining this deep sleep state is semi-enlightened state of consciousness and a perfectly integrated and relaxed personality. It is one of the tools of yoga that benefits trauma work. Rest In Love Yoga Nidra Guided Awareness

In this Pranayama practice, we will be using ujjayi pranayama, ujjayi means victorious, or conquering. This practice has a powerful effect on the mind and nervous system, and the whole spine and body. The effect and purpose of ujjayi warms the throat, neck and whole body, increases digestive fire, decreases insomnia, anxiety (both physical and mental tension), increases oxygenation of cells, increases mental clarity and inward turned awareness, increases prana lifeforce, which is more subtle than breath, but is carried by the breath. It balances the nervous system, parasympathetic and sympathetic, stabilizes the immune system, relaxes the whole body and can release tension in the muscular system throughout the whole body. Do this when body is relaxed, this practice is best to be before an asana practice or to do as a stand alone practice.  Ujjayi pranayama should not be practiced by someone who takes immuno-suppressant drugs, as the effect could be the disruption of the pharmaceutical effect. May be too heating for some with excessive heat, such as excess pita or in very hot climates or seasons. It is especially calming for vata dosha due to the subtle effect of sound, ujjayi can support chronic pain, acute pain, post surgery for faster recovery, postpartum, post injury (including broken bone, hold muscle or wound), anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, low energy, exhaustion, pregnancy, cancer treatment. It can also support and and help reduce symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, but these last factors do better with small increments and small doses.  Small increments of ujjayi a couple times a day Instead of one time a day for a longer periods so to reduce rebound effect.
