Thinking Of You by Chase Johnson & Scott Pounds (LovelyLips Music)

You can tell with this one—you just can. If you saw his picture you’d wonder; If you heard his music you’d nod; If you
felt his energy you’d know. It’s that rare mixture of talent and charisma which seldom graces the cultural landscape. With
undeniable musicianship, good looks and charm, and boiling over with confidence, he reminds of the greats: Steven Tyler,
Jim Morrison, Elton John, Tom Petty, Billy Joel—these names. Names of legends we all know. Names that brought with
them a presence that bellied-up to their talents as musicians and made them bigger than life. This one is an outlier, like
them. People just don’t know the name…yet.

A prolific songwriter, Chase Johnson has penned well over 100 songs in his early years as an artist, undertaking all aspects
of production: drums, guitar, bass, lyrics, vocals, melodies; all of it. He works with some of most sought after producer/
songwriters in the business, being a frequent collaborator with Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Sheryl Crow, Carrie
Underwood) and Brian Howes (Hinder, Daughtry). After signing with Epic Records in 2006, Chase and his former band
Open Air Stereo worked under the guidance of famed producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi) before the
group disbanded in 2008. Open Air Stereo performed live on MTV’s TRL to an audience of millions in 2006, as well as
the “After Show” for Season 3 of MTV’s Laguna Beach, a pseudo reality show starring Chase that featured Open Air Stereo
prominently during the season’s run.

He cut his teeth at a young age in LA performing at legendary clubs like The Roxy and The Troubadour, selling out shows
and owning the stage before he could own a bar tab. Chase first gained exposure in 2005 when his band Open Air Stereo’s
self-titled EP earned them a nomination for Best Rock Group at the Orange County Music Awards. The success of the EP
secured them a spot performing in front of thousands at that year’s KROQ Weenie Roast, one of Southern California’s most
anticipated concert events. Chase gained much more exposure for himself and the band when he joined the cast of MTV’s
hit series Laguna Beach.

A native Southern Californian, Chase grew up on the beaches of Orange County. That laid-back California vibe shows
through. He’s as collected and cool as they come, down-to-earth with a soul sold to Vegas—the heart of a performer. His
music forces you to imagine other performers having hits with his songs, and only because we haven’t heard his voice, we
don’t know his name…yet.

Chase has that definitive swagger and look that in our collective mind we call a rock star. He embodies it and soaks it in,
leaving but scraps for others. He knows he’s talented; he knows he’s a catch. His future success is without doubt. See him
