Davina Watson writes and sings simple songs about complex events: love, life, friendship and self-exploration. Davina composes with lyrics that are in tune with the differing emotions of a person. No clichés just honest raw feelings. Davina also writes songs that are fun and a little cheeky you can sing along even though you've never heard the tune before. Davina writes from a perspective of the relationship between lovers as well as life and the ever-winding roads that can lead from small towns to big cities, from a crowded room to a lonely place. Davina intends to captivate her listeners to connect with them as if being in the same room. Drawing them in with each word and melody.

Davina is influenced by writers such as Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Jamie Cullum,  Fred Hammond, Labrinth  and Gary Barlow  amongst many others. Davina believes that these particular artists have made use of the beauty of words, phrases and lyrics in their own unique styles. 

Davina has always been a creative person and has written a few short stories in the past and has continued to write stories in the form of song.

Davina intends to not only write for artists but animations, films, theatrical plays and musicals. Davina not only writes but also sings and plays the piano to find unique melodies  which she often uses to produce beautiful pieces of Work.
