This was a rather sparse cover of one of my fave Lou Reed songs, from the VU era. I did this over a year ago on a  whim, but now I'm glad i did. ITs acoustic but heavy, droney but has such great hook, Lou knew how to drag you out through his hooks, which were always about being "alright," cuz it was, and he was, and i think we are still, even if were not--were still ok.

this is one of my mid tempo rockers with great synth and guitar integration, the lead guitar winds around the sultry chord changes, leading to a break, then into the coda. Its understated lyrically since its about confession and being honest (she kinda sucks but im sorta lethargic to go). Think of it as freebird for people who can't stand freebird.

Tip Of My Tounge

This is one of my favorite songs, a very trance like meditational groove which starts slow and acoustic and builds into a deep groove and break beat feel, the lyrics are meditational but the song is about power and love and strength, when it breaks it feels like an army coming over the walls of a besieged city (thanks Kale).

Triple Flight

this song is about breaking up and being misunderstood even when they say they get you and all that--- but its also one of my best friend's soundtrack to falling deeply in love to his current wife, both of whom listened to it on a road trip repeatedly. Thank god i sometimes sing way too low or mumble... :)
