Within weeks of the release of their debut album, I Wanna Be in a Band, Lovestruck Robot took off in a big way by beating out more than 300 bands to win the Florida GRAMMY Showcase on opening night of the 2011 Florida Music Festival and Conference.  Judged by music industry experts based on songwriting, song quality, and their live performance, the band took home first place and more than $25,000 in prizes.  The band has a dynamic sound that some industry personnel have described as the outcome of collaboration between Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, and Lenny Kravitz. Singer/songwriter and frontman, Jace Magee, is from Moore, Oklahoma and moved to Orlando in 2002 to pursue his musical dreams. He joined an R&B singing group where he toured the U.S. as the opening act for Hall & Oates. Now he's leading the perfect group of lovestruck robots who have no choice but to be irresistibly drawn to the music they love.
