Love Thy Brother’s new house cut 'Reminding Me' is their first release of 2015 and marks the popular remixers first wholly original work.

Recently debuted, along with 3 other tracks in their highly lauded mix for men’s fashion brand Frank & Oak, 'Reminding Me' sent a flurry of track ID requests whipping through the blogosphere.  

The forward thinking production moves fluidly from moments of lush atmosphere to groovy basslines and verses pulsing with emotion.

"One of the things that drew us to the original track was that it had this John Hughes vibe to it -- a director who's movies and soundtracks have always been an inspiration for us.

So we riffed on that feeling by adding some classic 80s drum processing techniques and we threw in a big dramatic guitar solo.  At the same time it's got a much more modern groove to it so the hope is to bridge the gap between John Hughes and today's dancefloors."

Weezer - I Love the USA (Love Thy Brother Remix)

Here's a mix we made for KISS FM & Pure FM -- two awesome Berlin radio stations.  We took the opportunity to put together a small preview of the live set we're working on.  It's still very much a work in progress but it gives a little window into where our heads at.   The mix features mostly original material, remixes and edits and almost all of it is unreleased. 

 It draws from many of our musical influences from the classic R&B and Funk of Fat Larry’s Band or the Italo Disco of Clio Faces to contemporary electronic and hip-hop sounds of Lauer and Chance the Rapper.  

It’s even got some music off our favourite soundtrack’s like Toto’s Dune OST to Jan Hammer’s Miami Vice OST whose audio and visual influences have played big parts in our sound.  It’s a bit more downtempo than what we plan to play out eventually but gives a the vibe for the show we’re working hard to put together.
