So, this week on The Love With Liana Podcast episode is titled "A Song For Someone" based on the song by U2 that I sing and play on the ukulele in this episode. It has beautiful lyrics that remind me in even the darkest of times when my mind is telling me not to go on to keep going. It's that light within me, and within all of us, that is bigger than any pain to keep us here.

When I think about my own self-love journey, I found that the most powerful way to transform and unconditionally love myself was to get present with my emotions, let them process through, and then true self-love emerged from within me. Doing this regularly has ultimately increased my overall self-worth and self-esteem, and inspires me to live a more passionate and creative life everyday. 

I call this Building Love Through Presence and I have created this powerful meditation as a way to teach you exactly how to do this, because it is a full body, mind, and spiritual process that is not easily put into words.

Here is how I best define what Building Love Through presence means:

🌟 Getting present with whatever you are feeling; allowing the sensations to rise up from within your body and be fully felt, processed, and honored for exactly what they are—not trying to change them, make stories and assumptions about them or why they are happening, but simply allowing for those feelings to be present in your body.  

🌟 Then, asking those feelings how old they think you are, what they need from you today, how you can best support yourself in this moment and going forward.  

🌟 This is how you can ultimately build tremendous self-love for yourself and increase your self-worth because you get the opportunity to learn about the parts of yourself that make you who you are. You get the opportunity to heal and transform your inner child and wounds from the past to unleash the life you are meant to live.

Had some fun this weekend by reconnecting my heart to music! 💜💙

When I think of the meaning of this song, I feel puzzled, because I spend so much of my time building up my self-worth and self-love to feel like "I am Enough", to then fall in love with a song called "Never Enough" is interesting! 🤗

What this song means to me is that nothing outside of us can truly make us feel like we are enough. In order to feel like we are enough, we have to do the inner work and transform the parts that don't believe we are enough. Only then, can we we live our life proud of who we are and feel like we are enough.

I curated this song and recorded it back in 2013. I didn't have a professional microphone or even a great recording space. All I had was my MacBook Pro, my headphones, my ukulele, my printout of my lyrics and chords I had arranged, and my voice. 

To this day, this recording holds a very special place in my heart. I am sharing it with you because I think the music and its overall message is everlasting. To me, this song is about yearning one day to find the love of your life thinking that he/she/they/them will make you different, only to realize, you are still alone inside. 

No one outside of you can truly make you feel at home. You have to find home in yourself. Then and only then, will you be able to experience love beyond your wildest dreams—love from others, but most importantly, love from yourself. 

When you love yourself unconditionally, your light shines brighter.
