18 months on from the now legendary DJ mix "The Wave Pool MMXV", Plastician presents the much anticipated follow up mix, this time with an accompanying 29 track album of the tracks included within.

The question asked of the first mix was whether or not a new sound was emerging out of the internet - 18 months on, and countless great productions since, this collection of tracks from some of the Wave movement's key players and new blood seeks to gain approval of the Wave genre's arrival.

Including tracks from Klimeks, Kareful, Skit, Sorsari, Deadcrow, Anubis XIII, Hnrk, Noah B, Brothel and more - it's clear to see that this compilation has called upon some of the scene's most noted producers to stake it's claim. 

Mixed and curated by Plastician whose Rinse FM radio show was the platform for this movement to be brought to the attention of the wider public, as well as his Survey parties in Phonox being the initial club night at which this scene established itself outside of the internet - this album is another statement from the man that this sound is not trying to disappear into obscurity any time soon.

Double vinyl re-issue of the third full-length album of raison d'être that was first released in 1995. “Within the Depths of Silence and Phormations” takes the listener deep below the world of the ordinary into the catacombs of the subconscious, the worlds lying within us so few ever live to explore. This is music meant to stimulate the mind, to inspire one in their explorations of self and solitude. Layers of ethereal atmospheres and the collage of choirs, strings, bells and occasional voices slowly bleed together to create music for society whose spirituality has been rendered impotent. Soaking in this world, one is left with the impression of overwhelming sadness and profound desolation. This is the sound of all hope nullified. This new edition has been considerably expanded with additional material and made it into a double album featuring unique and previously unreleased compositions all carefully mastered according to the K-14 level standard for highest possible sound quality.
