Have you heard of the Viola?  
Deb chats with Jeremy Green and his desire to call attention to his favourite instrament, the viola.  Jeremy created a youtube channel just over one year ago and has over 530K views, 20K supporters in 20 countries and covered over 30 songs. 
 
At the age of ten, the opportunity to learn how to play a string instrument was introduced. Knowing absolutely nothing about string instruments, he was lead to the viola.  It has become a vehicle that has literally touched the lives of many.  Based in San Antonio, Texas, and still at school, Jeremy has played the viola in various venues, including Carnegie Hall!

"Love My Life" is a great song by Sun Hyland, Deb chats with him about what inspired him to write it.

Sun Hyland has a clear intention - to create positive, conscious music that is soothing to the heart and accessible to all. Music that unites and inspires. Sun’s passionate, heartfelt vocals are the perfect complement to his warm and funky acoustic grooves.

Sun’s debut album “wake up” was released on Kinship Records in April 2011. With songs ranging in style from Roots Reggae to Folk Hop and even Devotional Funk, his positive, uplifting music has everyone singing along to tasteful feel good lyrics, and shaking their booties on the dancefloor. 

Sun’s latest musical adventure’s have led to him leading kirtan, a yogic call and response chanting practice, for groups of 20-200 people around Melbourne. He’s also working (slowly) on two new recordings, one of new original material and another a kirtan inspired album of sanskrit mantra.

Who do you need to forgive to unlock your happiness?

Deb chats with Anita Prime about her song 'Rain' written to inspire hope and encouragement for young people.

Anita Prime is an RnB/Pop singer and songwriter from New Zealand. 

At the 2011 LAMA Los Angeles Music Awards she won the Best Music Video Category for the video supporting her first international single “La La La”.  In September of 2011 Anita’s third single "Complicated" achieved the #3 position as Breakout Artist on the US Billboard Charts in the Hot Dance/Club Play category and remained on the chart for 11 weeks solid! 

Anita Prime came from a musical family fluent in the piano, trumpet and ukulele. She began singing at a very early age, began learning piano from the age of 5 and went on to learn the flute, guitar and drums. Receiving her certification from the prestigious Trinity School of London, Anita Prime began performing live at 13 as part of a band "Three 'n One", and has gone on to work the New Zealand circuit and to perform as a featured artist in many community and charity events, TV and Radio.

Anita Prime’s career headed toward the international stage in 2010 when she met Grammy Award nominated record producer Ron Thaler at a conference. Thaler reworked the entire album, and released "Destiny" to international acclaim. Thaler says of Anita’s talent;

"...We are entering an important time in music, where true artists are finally getting their due. Anita Prime finds herself right in the middle of it, one of New Zealand's three most celebrated recent exports alongside Kimbra and Lorde. " 
 
Anita Prime also is the CEO of her own music school, Prime Music Academy, that helps shape new vocal artists and musicians for meaningful careers in music, including NZ Idol finalists and multi-platinum artists Evermore and Australia's Got Talent selectee Gareth Barker.

Where do you go for to find answers?  Deb chats with delightful singer/ songwriter Mirva on her journey to writing her latest music.

Mirva is passionate about delivering feel-good and uplifting vibes to the contemporary music scene. "I want to create feel-good, inspirational & serotonin-raising musical experiences. Under the MiRVA umbrella, I strive to make music that is good for the soul with a positive approach aimed to inspire and spread happiness in our world."

Originally born in Sweden, Mirva now calls Sydney Australia home. Her latest EP "One" placed her 4th at the Australian Independent Music Awards (AIMA's) out of over 5000 entries. Mirva is in the final stages of her new recording and will be releasing a new EP at the end of 2014.

Mirva also describes her self as a spiritualist and author.  Her book called 'The Art of Soulful Living' assists people to connect with their inner selves and help them release their creative juices.

Matt’s defiant nature as a child not only gained him a permanent seat in the principals office, a police record and some hard learned lessons, but was also the fuel that burnt down the picket fence surrounding his narrow-minded middle American way of life to becoming a respected spiritual teacher, master sound healer, visionary and co-owner of Be Still & Chill Health and Wellness Centre (www.justb.net.au) in the heart of Sydney’s Northern beaches.

From troubled teen, to depressed Computer Engineer, to wannabe rock star Matt prided himself on not fitting in until the suicide of his mother knocked him off his path of self-righteousness disguised as self-abuse and sent him exploring deeper spiritual truths within himself.  

He embarked on a journey around the world embracing wisdom through meditation, yoga, ancient cultures, sound healing, breathwork, volunteer work and spiritual healing. He holds a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology, Diploma of Sound Healing, Cert. Yoga Instructor, And Reiki Master.

His diverse background and ability to shift from leading a healing meditation process to kicking back a couple schooners at the local pub makes it easy for him to bring airy-fairy spiritual concepts down to earth.
