A peacock dreams of being a poet. It ponders, trying to shed its colors, turning its feathers into a gradient of flesh. On the other side, a poet longs for the peacock’s colors; a galactic blend of earth, forest, sea and sky, as seen from a vantage point. The poet can close their eyes and absorb the knowledge of the finite. Yet, trapped in a monotone concentration, eyebrows plucked down to 111, they miss much. The peacock, dipping deep into the ink of the poet's pen, sails through a tube into the poet's body. A fluttering storm erupts, reversing the roles: the peacock finds itself under arrest warrant While the poet, his utterance collapsing into a cry; haunting, like a peacock's wail struggles to describe the world.

طاووسٌ يحلم بأن يكون شاعراً. يحدق، متخلصاً من ألوانه، محولًا ريشه إلى تدرجٍ لوني من اللحم. من ناحية أخرى، يتوق الشاعر إلى ألوان الطاووس؛ مزيجٌ مجريٌّ من الأرض، والغابة، والبحر، والسماء، يُرى من نقطةٍ عالية. يمكن للشاعر أن يُغمض عينيه ويمتصّ معرفة المحدود، لكنه يفقد الكثير، محاصراً في تركيزٍ رتيب، حاجباه مشدودان إلى ١١١.

يغمس الطاووس في قطرات الحبر المنسكبة من قلم الشاعر، ثم ينساب عبر أنبوب إلى داخل جسده. تندلع عاصفةٌ مرفرفة، فتُعكس الأدوار: يجد الطاووس نفسه تحت مذكرة اعتقال، بينما الشاعر، وقد تقلّص تعبيره إلى ضغيب حاد، يعيقه لوصف العالم

The Way Of Time takes loose inspiration from Elizabeth Madox Roberts’ novel The Time Of Man, sampling Joan Lorring’s voice from the 1951 radio play adaptation of the novel.
Biosphere’s signature ambient loops, soothing arctic synths and melodies combine with Lorring’s sweet, wistful and deep-south wonderings to create a record that is both deeply human and searching.

En este tercer episodio en Radio Alhara nos place presentar un mix de Issa Mitri, un gran coleccionista de música árabe clásica que con los años ha hecho un gran archivo donde lo comparte en sus redes como YouTube. Con su experiencia auditiva ha notado un cambio en la velocidad de las grabaciones y ha decidido arreglarlas a oído y subirlas de nuevo con imágenes encontradas y coloridas por él mismo. Ha sido una gran polémica con las grandes disqueras pero al escuchar la diferencia muchos han estado a favor de su trabajo. 

Esta vez nos presenta el recorrido de la trayectoria de Fairouz desde el comienzo de los 50s y algunas canciones internacionales que fueron arabizadas: bolero, paso doble, entre otros. Incluye composiciones de su hijo recién fallecido Ziad Rahbani.
