Here's my transcription of "Leaving Hogwarts", the music that's playing at the end of the first and the last movie of the saga. I did everything by ear so I hope there's not too many mistakes! It took me about 9 hours to record and edit everything! So tiring !
Everything was done with LA Scoring Strings 2 and Garritan Personal Orchestra in Cubase 5.

Track 12 Ode aux Braves disparus

The Chopin Fantaisie-Impromptu is one of those iconic pieces of the classical piano repertoire. It is arguably played too much so why have I added my performance? I think the infinite ways a piece can change in the hands of different musicians is actually very interesting. My version is fast but lyrical and I search for an unexaggerated and natural romanticism and warmth.
