Reeko, also known as Architectural, started DJing in the late 90s and producing in the early 2000s, and he has released countless timeless records since. He founded the labels Mental Disorder and Evidence and was part of the PoleGroup collective for a decade. Collaborations with Surgeon, Oscar Mulero and Exium, as well as releases on many legendary labels, are part of his discography. Lyder’s new album “weird fishes” is a shimmering dive into the unknown. With effervescent textures and dreamlike instrumentations, the electroacoustic trio invites listeners into a surreal seascape. Saxophone, violin, voice, and keys, all filtered and transformed, weave through ambient waters that feel both tender and disorienting. Each track explores a distinct layer of the deep – from sunlit shallows to abyssal ruins where forgotten echoes linger. “weird fishes” is a sonically fluid journey: colorful, strange, and full of hidden life.

Lyder - Weird Fishes [Tunnel Visions]

Madloch's Crossfade Sounds is pleased to welcome back Oldschool Dubtechno .Producer for their second appearance on the label, presenting the Book of Palaces EP. The project is the creative alliance of Siberian brothers Alexander Kotlov (X_FR) and ENERCUBE, co-founders of the influential PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB label and podcast channel. With a shared vision rooted in the landscapes of their homeland, the duo has cultivated a sound that fuses rugged atmospheres with meditative depth, embodying the philosophy of contemporary dub techno while retaining a timeless old-school spirit.

Following their 2024 debut Shadow Astrology EP, Oldschool Dubtechno .Producer now unveils four new originals, each carrying their signature balance of weight and subtlety. Opening with Epiphysis Cerebri and Prince of Angels, the duo establishes a framework of immersive grooves and shadowy textures, before venturing into Rahatiel Stargate, a track marked by expansive layers and hypnotic drift. Closing piece Sefer Hekhalot encapsulates the essence of the release, offering a spacious, contemplative journey that lingers long after its final tones fade.

With Book of Palaces, Oldschool Dubtechno .Producer continues to expand their narrative within the Crossfade catalogue, reaffirming their role as architects of the Siberian dub techno sound while offering a release that resonates equally on introspective and club-focused stages.
