The Low Discrict is a duo born in 2011 thanks to the musical meeting of two Tuscan artists: Marco La Porta and Riccardo Setti. The two DJs, Marco and Riccardo, have chosen to combine their experiences both for the Dj Set and for the in-house work. This has been possible because the two artists share similar music preferences and passions. 
Their productions are made by the underground music. By treasuring of the electronic music in general, they address their sound between 118 and 122 bpm, creating a progressive and never predictable energy. Beyond all doubts, Marco and Riccardo have been inspired by the dub, soul and old school sounds, combined with a mood deep/electro music style. By privileging all-involving and full-bodied basses, their tracks move themselves away from the tech house stereotypes, embracing indie dance and nudisco tones.
Their DJ Sets sweep from the groove style to the deep house, passing through the acid jazz sounds,
as well as through the energetic and warm march of the house music.

I Low District nascono nel 2011 dall'incontro musicale di due artisti toscani: Marco La Porta e Riccardo Setti. i due dj scelgono di unire le loro esperienze sia per quanto riguarda i dj set che per il lavoro in studio, essendo accomunati da gusti musicali simili e da stesse passioni…
Le loro produzioni sono mosse dai suoni dell'underground..avendo fatto entrambi tesoro della musica elettronica in generale, indirizzano il loro sound tra i 118 e i 122 bpm creando un energia progressiva e mai scontata. fonte di ispirazione per il giovane duo sono senza dubbio suoni dub, soul e old school uniti ad un mood deep/electro. Privilegiando bassi avvolgenti e corposi, le loro tracce si discostano dalle stereotipie tech house abbracciando sfumature indie dance e nudisco.
I loro dj set spaziano dal groove della deep house, passando tra suoni acid jazz, alla marcia energica e calorosa dell'house.
