Cuttin' Headz continues to define the contemporary house landscape with another superb EP, this time from Toman. The Dutchman has been hugely prolific since breaking through and his unique take on house and techno has led him to much-renowned outlets like No Art, Moscow & Eastenderz.

This fresh new EP opens with Madrugada, a tightly coiled bit of tech funk. The kicking drums and razor sharp hi hats are detailed with cool female vocal stabs, whirring effects and dramatic fills that really make the track pop. Better Is Weather is a much deeper tune but one that still packs a punch. The super balmy pads bring a nice summery feel to the breezy late night grooves and hints of garage skip.

All in all, another incredible standout EP from all involved.

The summer season might be all but over, but the good times keep on coming courtesy of this latest missile from Do Not Sleep by Luuk Van Dijk with a top remix from Ben Sterling.

Amsterdam based talent Van Dijk has had music in his bones since his youth and next to laying down sets at Paradise, Awakenings, elrow, Cocoon he has held a residency at Straf_Werk and released on taste making labels like Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, and Circus Recordings. He saves his best for Do Not Sleep however. 

In the District is tight, tough, hard hitting house music with interwoven drums and bass that get right under your skin and make you move, while synths and percussion peel off the busy groove. Blunted then marries warped basslines and crisp claps with woodpecker hits. It is atmospheric, stripped back but effective house that makes an immediate mark. The remix of In the District by fast rising UK talent Ben Sterling is another brilliantly direct track with prying bass loops, freaky vocal echoes and a late night sense of mischief. 

This is another vital offering from Do Not Sleep.

The cornerstone of the Martinez Brothers sets for the past year, actually making its debut at their fabric all nighter (we miss nights like those!), Acid Mondays bring together Ali Love, The Show and Wolfgang Haffner for this very special outing.

The track ‘accidentally’ emerged out of late night sessions at their studio in Ibiza. 'Everything' is a kinetic house tune with tripped out synths and darkly psychedelic vocals. It's one for illicit afterparties and freaky spaces. As well as a dub mix that focusses even more on the fantastic drums, The Martinez Brothers join the action with a superb stripped-back and techier remix that kicks like a mule.
