Technasia - I Am Somebody (Teaser) - Suara (2013)

Purple Disco Machine is just about to release his outstanding EP on Tube & Berger and Julie Sikora's Kittball Records. Previously PDM has been at the top of the Beatport charts with his track 'My House' being #1 in the Deep House charts. 

The concept behind the EP is Purple Disco Machine’s contribution to the burgeoning piano house revival that is t1earing up clubs all over the world. By highlighting the piano riff PDM joins the likes of Dusky, Doorly & Shadowchild, MK and Bicep and pays tribute to a classic House sound that has inspired him since he started checking out the scene back in the 1990s.

DJ Mag are very pleased to bring it's readers an exclusive premiere of one of the tracks 'Where We Belong', you can listen below.

‘Where We Belong’ kicks the EP off in suitable style encompassing a combination of clear-cut percussive beats, a thick funky bassline, muted disco guitar riffs, warm piano chords and an infectious female vocal line from House diva Alex Mills which you’ll be singing all night and day – a sure-fire future classic!

The EP, named 'Purple Pianos' is out on Febuary 17th.

Butch and Sebastian locked down some studio time together to deliver “Losing Gravity,” which marks another strong collab from the two close comrades. Shivers are in abundance here, as they use deliberately deep textures and somber chords to strike the soles of your shoes.

Oliver Huntemann always delivers - especially on his own Senso imprint. After two decades at the forefront of the European scene, to see his name on a record gua- rantees deep and deeply accomplished techno with a precise, refined production and high-definition details.
Both tunes on this double-header live up to the billing. 'Pech' is a masterclass in the selection and combination of tone, texture and the thoughtful treatments applied to them. A long two-minute build paves the way for a sustained bass tone that teases the listener with well-timed pitch bends. Elements unfold and flower organically as the tune reaches its climax of dancing synth lines.
'Schwefel' takes a voyage into more eerie territory, full of echo and distant music- box pings. Huntemann balances these delicate melodic sounds with gritty synth repetitions that finally win the day to deliver a surging, stirring and deeply memo- rable roller.

Claptone's Golden Summer Tour runs from his first date at the opening of Amnesia in May through to his last date at the legendary Ibiza super-club in September and takes in a staggering 66 dates in 20 countries with more to be announced! 

2016 is the Golden Summer of Claptone and his agenda this season is to help fans create memories that'll last forever:

'We have all had summers where the stars align; we're with our best friends, enjoying beautiful weather, listening to our favourite music and falling in love. If you didn't know yet: as much as I like the dark of a club night, I feel drawn to the gold of a festival site or a beach party. And I'm not greedy, I'm gonna share my golden summer with you.' says Claptone himself.

The incredible tour schedule includes performances at Amnesia, Space, Pacha, Glastonbury, We Are FSTVL, Big Festival, Mysteryland, Spring Awakening, Parookaville, Brunch Electronik, Dreambeach Festival in countries as varied as Japan, China, Canada, USA and across Europe too. And there'll be a soundtrack to this tour: Claptone will be releasing remixes of his single 'Heartbeat feat. Nathan Nicholson' (from Technasia and Mat.Joe) on 6th June plus Claptone remixes of New Order and Peter, Bjorn & John with some surprises no doubt too… 

Throughout the summer, Claptone and his partners will be holding competitions to win VIP and masked merchandise from his brand new store. You can also soundtrack the summer with his weekly Clapcast radio show that is broadcast on 40+ stations worldwide and has been downloaded 4 million times from iTunes so far.

HAMBURG HEAVYWEIGHTS, ADANA TWINS ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF THEIR NEW LABEL, TAU. WITH A FREE ORIGINAL ADANA TWINS TRACK TO CELEBRATE THE START OF A NEW ERA FOR THE PAIR. 

As longstanding purveyors of their unique brand of house and techno, prime Hamburg exports, Adana Twins announce the launch of their own label, TAU. Having risen through the ranks since the pairs inception back in 2006, Adana Twins have seen soaring success. Working up heat on the DJ circuit before hitting the big time in 2012, with hits ‘Everyday’ and ‘Strange’, they have since worked with the most notable brands, labels and bodies in the industry. Last year, the duo achieved an all-time high, signing to notorious Berlin institution-come-label, Watergate. 2018 has already proven to be a fruitful one with the release of their ‘Jupiter’ EP on Watergate. Despite this, it seems the well-known unwavering tenacity of Adana Twins is undying, establishing themselves as true connoisseurs of their craft, heading up their very own imprint, TAU.

To celebrate their new venture, Adana Twins have produced an original track to be released as a free download via the TAU Soundcloud. New track, ‘Frozen’, features Brazilian experimental-dance music duo, Digitaria. Much alike the Adana Twins, Digitaria have spent their own fair amount of time crafting their sound, playing as part of a four-piece band since 2004. They now create music without rules, pushing the boundaries of what dance music can be. This teaming up of restless musical minds, clearly manifests in the track itself. The signature elements of the Adana Twins sound are presented in powerful kicks and pulsing hi-hats. Eerie vocals serenade amid swirling melodic bells and roaring sirens, building to a spin-tingling crescendo that sees all elements break loose in a pulsating frenzy. Whilst also receiving major support from Techno Heavyweights Tale Of Us throughout the last few months. 
 
The collaboration with Digitaria on ‘Frozen’ paves the way for the overall ethos of new label, TAU; seeking to bring up-and-coming talent to the fore. Having been instrumental in securing their home city of Hamburg’s position on the electronic music landscape, Adana Twins stay very humble in their hopes for TAU; seeking to create a platform for new talent alongside other music they believe in. In true Adana Twins style, they already have two releases in the pipeline, TAU001 and TAU002.

Inaugural release, TAU001, comes from a rising German duo by the name of Innellea is set to drop 31st August. Delivering a unique style of tribal infused techno, Innellea are believed to be one of the up-and-coming talents in the scene at present. TAU002, comes from yet another exciting new talent, BOg. Hailing from Romania, currently based in Paris, BOg first broke onto the scene after being signed to John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’. Over the past 12-years, he has become affiliated with the likes of Solomun and Dixon, releasing on both respective artists own imprints Diynamic and Innervisions; speaking volumes for what can be expected from BOg’s debut EP on TAU.

Brazilian duo Xique-Xique take on Noordhoek with their prevailing, slow burner approach. Distant yet familiar soundscapes permeate and intertwine with dreamy pads, bringing the track to a serene simmer.
