My getaway = Bass - Pedalboard - Audio Interface- Laptop - Headphones -Whisky or other poison of choice - Not having to get up early in the morning = Relaxed (with an occasional hangover)

No Vacation This Summer

I almost lost this track to a sudden crash of my DAW and just when I was doing the final mixes.  It sucked!  The files were gone and I was too tired at 4 am to redo it all.

A couple of days later, I go at it again, but it was no longer in me.  Whatever I was feeling that night was vented into the tracks and with the shock of losing the audio, I couldn't summon it.

Luckily the files were magically (okay, maybe not so magically) saved in my NAS!  I usually don't record with the WiFi or anything else on, but I did on this occasion since I was running on a whim.  It doesn't matter how many undos and redos your DAW allows, the piece of shit will lose your files, because for whatever reason, it won't just automatically save everything you do when you do it.

On that note, this song is for us that take things too literal. Don't!  Sometimes we skip or miss a single letter in a sentence and it can take it completely out of context.  Or you just know a piece of shit of a human being that doesn't understand the concept of honor, friendship and family.

So, always take it With A Grain Of Salt.
