What happens when a Low Flying Owl gets together with a Little Red Spider in the recording studio? The two produced "Bad Haircut" under the project name Laid in 2017. Laid would later evolve into Mass Hallucinations (debut ep coming October '21).

Two romantic vagabonds travel to the  California desert with a small condenser mic, a synth and an iPad. We also tracked an old, dusty, splintered and mostly out of tune piano haunting our airbnb for the sessions. We set out to challenge ourselves and embrace our limitations. Fenna Frei is a multitalented Argentinian songwriter, singer, producer, and engineer living in Buenos Aires. "I Am The Storm" was tracked in Joshua Tree  and mixed in Buenos Aires at Panacea Studios.

Low Flying Owls formed in 2001 and began their experimental rock and roll odyssey in the desolate tree laden sticks of Northern California. Their electric live show created a heady buzz throughout the United States and UK with spins on John Peel's BBC Radio 1 and Steve Lamacq's Radio 6 respectively. The band is comprised of Jared Southard on lead vocals and guitar, Andy Wagner on lead guitar and keys, Mike Bruce on bass, and Robby Dowd on drums. Low Flying Owls have played and toured with the likes of The Fall, Blonde Redhead, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Dandy Warhols, BRMC, and Clinic to name but a few!
