5 Jahre Geschwister Schumann

Ja, es ist wirklich schon so lange her, dass wir das erste Mal "die Bühnen dieser Welt" betreten haben. Die erste Veröffentlichung war noch nicht wirklich durchgedrungen und langsam fingen Leute an, sich sogar für unsere Musik zu interessieren.

Der Drang musikalisch Gefühle auszudrücken, Gedanken durch Melodien zu transportieren und so viele Menschen wie möglich glücklich zu machen, war die treibende Kraft unseres Schaffens.

Symbiont-music war wie geschaffen, diesem Drang ein Ventil zu geben. Eine Gruppe von idealistischen Visionären, welche es gekonnt verstanden, Athmosphären zu erschaffen und Menschen dort abzuholen, wo sie standen.

Aus den Kinderschuhen wurden ausgewachsene Auftritte und mittlerweile haben wir schon den einen oder anderen Kontinent musikalisch überquert.

Alles in allem ist das anfängliche Gefühl immer noch da: gewachsen, transformiert, weiterentwickelt und stets rückbesinnt. Wir schauen mit Elan in die Zukunft und wollen ganz besonders den Menschen danken, die uns unterstützt, begleitet, beklatscht und betanzt haben.

Es war uns immer ein Fest für euch und mit euch musiziert zu haben und wir haben noch einiges vor.

Als kleines "Dankeschön" haben wir uns ein All-time-favourite geschnappt und es endlich mal fertig produziert, den ihr euch einfach bei Soundcloud runterladen könnt.

Brash, bold, rich in texture and drenched in soul, ‘Hypnotism’ is the lead off single for Glenn Morrison’s forthcoming club album ‘Dark Waters’ due in the fall of 2017.  Reflections and ruminations make for a creative release, and ‘Hypnotism’ builds upon a repeating motif - there are at moments five melodic sublayers working in good harmony.  A simple yet elegant approach with a nod to the psychedelic and goa styles, this release is a small taster of what the album holds for us.  On the B side duties is the brilliant Italian composer Dusty Kid, whose latest addition to the Fall From Grace roster comes at a perfect time, with his intelligent, melodic composition he takes the record into another world with slight hints of Glenn Morrison’s original motif.  Dusty Kid Dub remix is a twisted affair, with the abscence of the melodic arpeggiated layers being replaced with bubbly robotic blip crescendos and disjointed laser squeals.  On the final close of this release is the brilliant artist Morttagua.  A resident at Green Valley and a heavy touring artist in his native country of Brazil, his interpretation of ‘Hypnotism’ is strong for the big venues and loud soundscapes.  Rolling baselines and building melodic motifs stagger throughout the original ‘Hypnotism’ riff and this package has extremely gifted musicians essentially jamming and composing on top of riff after riff after riff.  This release is being serviced through DMDS Promo and Your Army UK with DJ Promo going out on Friday June 16th 2017. Release date is June 23rd 2017. German producer Marcus Meinhardt debuts on Kittball with a moody single featuring remixes from Stil vor Talents Jiggler and Township Rebellion. Following a streak of weighty releases from Ante Perry, Veerus, Roumex, Illyus & Barrientos and label founders Tube & Berger, Kittball now invite Marcus Meinhardt to their roster. Originally from Thuringen but now based in Berlin, the Heinz Music founder is well known for his releases on Katermukke, Hive Audio and SNOE. With piercing percussion and spectral atmospherics, Duke is an ominous number featuring soaring synths and tantalizing melodies. Township Rebellions remix then marches forward with a chugging bassline, snappy snares and epic chords until Jiggler concludes the package with a low-slung rendition complete with purring bass, dystopian effects and a compelling groove.
