So here's the story: D&B was my first love in electronic music, and the reason why I bought my first vinyl decks and mixer. I've spent countless hours diggin' through vinyl crates in Barcelona stores, attending to parties and raves, and absorbing all the information available on the Internet in those days. After many years of just being a D&B fanatic, my musical interests expanded, specially thanks to the Autonomic sound and the podcasts that dBridge and Instra:mental started to push. After that, for a brief period of time, I was djing D&B with another alias and created Lowprofile as an outlet for exploration outside the 170 BPM world. The rest is history, it became my main project and I stopped playing D&B since then. 

Last week I came across an old hard drive and this mix was on it, making me feel nostalgic about those days. It was recorded live on a local FM radio show in Barcelona, and what I didn't know at that time is that it would become my last D&B mix ever recorded. I wanted to upload it here to pay homage to those days. The days of diggin' in the crates at La Ruta Natural, listen to Bassjam podcasts, attending to Surco Sessions, Breakstorm, Plataforma Club, X-pressing and many other parties and venues where Drum & Bass was played, even it that meant to take long train and car trips to other cities in Spain. S/o to all the people who, without even probably know it, shaped my music taste at that time and inspired me to keep pushing on this Dj thing.
