Back in 2006, Alvin Campaña bought his first midi controller.  When he plugged it into his computer, the mad scientist deep within him woke up, scaled Alvin's spine, climbed into his brain and whispered, "you're going to get a lot less sleep."

Years later, wanting to give a name to his music, Alvin decided on Loyal Royal, because he couldn't shake this weird orchestral sound that pervaded much of his early stuff - a sound that Alvin felt sounded regal.

That is how the story began.  Who knows how it'll end?
