Just googled the title and apparently it`s also the title of HIM`s 2nd album. Who knew?
Description:
This song is about being in love with what`s hurting you. For me "She" was women (one in particular who`s name I won`t say here.) Alcohol, & drugs, but honestly, "She" could be anything. 

Wrote this while staring out the window of my basement after I`d gotten out of the drunk tank. (I had driven up a one way into on coming traffic and spent the night there) 

Don`t drink and drive kids.

2nd verse is a description of my internal struggle with the person drugs made me. For some reason I pictured the biblical story of Moses parting the red sea, except in my case I was over thinking when I should`ve let God handle it. This was me realizing I was my biggest enemy, and also reconciling that for better or worse the bad is part of me as well as the good.
