On a mushroom holiday at Southcoast Plaza in Newport Beach CA, following several stiff Tanqueray and grapefruit juices, to take the edge off, I wrote this in about 5 minutes with my drummer. Redid the lyrics the next day and went in the studio that Friday.

Can't Stop Me Now

Failed rocket scientist. I joined my first band in 1963 and worked as a jobber for several years before I started writing. I have some older stuff I am posting as is, some older stuff I have redone - but mostly new stuff i am working on currently. I like many styles of music, but my stuff tends to gravitate towards rock and R&B, with reggae, blues and jazz influences. I like collaborating with people as they make my songs better, and I'd like to think I add something to anyone else's work I am pulled into.
