The various unites Ukrainian forward-thinking producers worldwide to show the rapid expansion of sound palette in Ukrainian independent electronic scene. Diverging from the traditional Mystictrax label genre range, each track demonstrates the artists' mastery of diverse techniques and methods, ranging from modular systems and hardware to DAWs and mobile apps.
Among the musicians who still have time and possibilities to write music is @hatroneli who is doing deep ambient beautiful music, including the track 'Beam 3' revealed here.
All profits goes to Musicians MUSICIANS DEFEND UKRAINE volunteers.

phazma - ‘Intrusion Countermeasures Electronics’

7 years after the inception of the project, the long-awaited debut LP from Leeds based producer phazma arrives in the form of a masterfully multi-faceted piece of hi-tech sci-fi electro.

Encompassing a range of future atmospheres from propulsive Netrunner pursuits to dizzying irrealism and reflective virtual ambience, ‘ICE’ is sci-fi music at its purest.

The release marks a collaboration with designer KID BECO informed by a collage of sci-fi influence, from Mirror’s Edge and Wipeout, to Designer’s Republic’s finest 90’s output.

The two singles see reworked tracks from London based TIMEDANCE resident Jabes and Glasgow based Pure Life resident DJ Javascript.

Available on rave case cassette and ‘Netrunner’ limited edition 140g vinyl.

I am happy to present our first tape release by The Jaffa Kid as part of the brand new Digital Artefacts series. 

The series is an ode to the sound of the 90s, from Electro, IDM and Jungle to further different experimental stuff and sounds. The choice of tape as format seemed fitting for the aesthetic of the series. 

The first EP comes from UK based The Jaffa Kid (previously on 030303, Dischi Nottetempo, Gated Recordings and more) and is a solid mixture of Electro, Techno and beyond.
