To say that it's an honor to host a mix from this man, would be a gross understatement. The respect and love I have for not only KiSk, but his labels under the Apparel Music family tree, is unmatched in the scene. From the first time I heard this beautiful soul in music, I knew it was someone who I needed to pay close attention to. From his wildly successful label, Apparel Music, down to the artistic adventures of ManMan (the unmasked producer of Apparel Wax), I could tell that Giuseppe was extraordinary in every sense of the word. From the quality in his selections, down to the finite details in every one of his productions, I knew I was witnessing a true pioneer of sound and curation. Today I have the honor of returning the favor to the host of my first ever guest mix ❤ With every ounce of love I could muster, I present to you Selected Timbres 003 from one of my favorite humans. Based in Colombia’s capital Bogotá, Felipe Gordon is a renaissance man. The producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and label head from Bogotá, Colombia is nothing short of a phenom, effortlessly fusing complex sound combinations from Jazz samples to flowing pianos and acid bass lines into hugely exciting and unique house records. It’s a sound which comes together perfectly to create tracks which have been moving waves worldwide over the last couple of years. Felipe has already released a string of hugely well regarded tracks and worked on remixes for some of the coolest labels out there including Toy Tonics, Local Talk, Shall Not Fade, Razor n' Tape and his own Nómada Records.

With his stripped-down emotional love for music and kind soul, Leipzig-bound beatsmith and all round top geezer Luvless has been steadily cementing his reputation as one of contemporary house music’s finest.

Luvless is known for his work with Rose Records – a label he started with four other friends back in 2011 – and a smattering of appearances on several other labels. slamming down dusty disco edits as well as athomspheric house belters. Since 2017 he’s been focussing on his new project Velours Records. a vinyl outlet for different avenues of the Luvless sound and guest appearances by friends.

His music has been described as sweet, gentle even, but banging at the same time. It sometimes pays homage to the old Kerry days with extra magic dust sprinkled on top.
