For this month's WMD? show on Ripe Radio, were joined by Swedish mix master extraordinaire and all-around great guy, Tooli! 

Tooli heads up Omena Records, Local Talk, and his newest label 18437 Records. To say he has an ear for a good track is an understatement and on this mix, he really shows off this quality, delivering a fresh slice of wobbly electronics and eclectic deep house, or as he puts it 'a proper snorkel session' - perfecto!

We also some play some new bits from mul.apin, DJ Popup and D&S, some classics from Morgan Geist and Roger23 - plus a track from our new album coming soon on Omena(!!!)

The great Christian S a.k.a. “the man with the masterplan” from Cologne is an old hand who has been djing for more than 20 years. Since the mid-90s, his flawless career has taken him all over the world, from Europe to the US. Back in time, he earned his stripes promoting parties locally and had been holding a well-deserved residency called “Lost” together with the like-minded fellow Matias Aguayo for many years. No doubt that these parties has casted a major influence on him and his current tastes both as a producer and DJ. Now, he is part of the international Cómeme crew and is regularly blessing his audience with top-notch radio shows. It’s also noteworthy that he made his first Boiler Room appearance in 2014, throwing a memorable eclectic house set you should keep getting back to when you feel uninspired. As an artist, he is this kind of wild and careful selector who tightly unearths gems from all genres, from house to techno through disco, to create a fine assortment of oddball dance music. There’s absolutely no barriers in his style, which enables him to freely express his adaptive take on house music with limitless creativity. Since the beginning, he has been supported by a wide number of promoters and clubs across the world (Panorama Bar, Salon des Amateurs, De School, etc.), honorably establishing him at the rank of top DJ.

All that being said, this is a masterful house mix brimming with propulsive and intoxicating jams that he gave us as a gift. Those intriguing and jangling melodies from Antonelli, Raphael Top Secret and Nelson Bishop are truly perfect to open the spring season under the best possible conditions.

BIS Radio Show #1006 Part1 with Chaos In The CBD

This has been a busy year for a relatively new producer, Eden Burns. He first appeared on our radar with the release of a balearic come club crossover EP on Public Possession, the record label come shop come fashion parlour extravaganza. Since then he has been busy having been invited to remix music on Optimo and then in his return to Public Possession not once but twice with new music. 

Eden Burns has broad taste, this much is clear in his diverse approach to music and the elements by which he manipulates. You might be as likely to find yourself lost amidst a drawn out ambient saga as an oddball club jam and you never know quite what you are going to get. That's what makes it exciting. 

Next month he will release a new EP via the label, AGAIN! He works fast. This time it's a club driven affair on a new EP called "Big Beat Manifesto Vol. I“. In keeping with this we asked him to record a mixtape of his own big beats and he does so in unique style.
