Andy Hart’s ‘Epsilon Girls’ was originally released in 2014 and has helped cement the artist and label’s position in the house music landscape. A vintage Barbara St. Clair loop gives the track a lovely human touch, which is countered by layers upon layers of glimmering electronics.

The Allergies are the latest signing to Jalapeno Records and this track Be With You is released exclusively on Jalapeno Funk Vol. 6 ahead of their debut EP on the label - Kicking Up Dust EP.
The Allergies are Bristol beat merchants DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeat who have made it their mission to take vintage sounds and reshape them for the modern dance floor.
Future classics like 'Heartbreaker' [Tune of the Month - Mixmag] and uptempo stomper 'As We Do Our Thing' have been championed on 6Music  and live their DJ sets mash up their funky influences with hard-earned hip-hop skills.
Since forming in 2012 they've racked up two EPs, a handful of remixes, and won over crowds from Greece to Bestival. 2015 looks like a big year for The Allergies. 
If you think the fun (and funk) factor has been missing from the breaks lately, then The Allergies might just have the remedy.

Massimo has returned with a new wave of inspiration and releases ready to go, blurring the boundaries between Balearic, House and Electronica, with a nod to the dancefloor.

Bossa Pacifico kicks things off, a superb off kilter Adriatic sunset groove recently picked up by Pete Herbert for Music for Swimming Pools Vol 2, and with a Live Nation remix of it, lifting it to more late night dancefloor proceedings.

Tony’s Groove is infectious as they come, a driving tweaky Nu Groove-esque bass line, filtered 90s pianos and early hours fx keeping it moving.

‘Wishes’ delivers a smooth, atmospheric minimal-house vibe with clean production and a steady, contemplative flow. Its airy pads and subtle percussion create a calming mood, though a more distinctive melodic element could elevate memorability. Overall, a well-crafted, cohesive track ideal for chill or late-night playlists.

Shir Khan and the illusive Exploited crew reveal the first compilation of the cultishly adored Black Jukebox series. It includes the sunniest grooves you’ve heard this year. ’Shir Khan Presents Black Jukebox Disco Jam 01’ is a soundsystem-ready disco-house jam which tickles the subwoofers beautifully and seems purpose built for eyes-wide-shut Summer terrace play in big outdoor spaces. Black Jukebox is traversing the wide spectrum of ‘dancefloor’ music.  There’s much to excite: All four tracks are built for rooftop parties with the deep V crew.
From slo-mo housed up boogie-soul, to a loft-party future classic, to a feel-good, sun-blushed, druggy, late night electric jam, to main room filtered disco house and subbass-bugged R&B…it’s all there.  It’s no wonder the Black Jukebox Vinyl series became buy-on-sight and quick to disappear. Two more cuts from the forthcoming JN album due in June. First up is the super funky Chic-esque "Prove That You’re Feelin Me" beautifully sung by the late Diane Charlemagne. Lots of tight live playing, real strings and a super catchy chorus. A proven floor filler.

Folamour represents the present and future sounds of the disco/house hybrid, staying true to the Glitterbox sonic philosophy. His tracks share the same production values as the timeless records from classic disco imprints in the late 70s; melodies are super-tightly harmonised, instrumentation is lively and the rhythms are designed purely for dance. 'The Power and The Blessing of Unity' is almost a mini album, exploring all the facets of Folamours sophisticated house and disco tendencies. The title track sparkles with brass stabs and a textbook swinging disco beat, Island Of Recent Father͛ breaks things down into synthy house goodness, Lets Grab Some Smokes channels a more contemporary low-fi sound and bringing it home with Home Beyond The Clouds, Folamour closes with uplifting house hooks and percussion. Its a real trip.
