'Coming From The Deep' EP by Munky Fike is the latest release from GLBDOM's sub-label GLBDOM Classic, and is a masterclass in elegant, retro house sounds for the modern, twenty-first century dance floor. Comprised of four tracks, Munky Fike gets things started with the eponymous 'Coming From The Deep', a simple yet powerful track featuring uplifting pads and a super catchy bassline, embellished with subtle touches of 303 and emotive sax refrains. Up next is 'Freak Me' which, as the name suggests, has a more energetic and frenetic vibe. Organ licks, a stomping bassline and deftly applied vocal samples all add up to make Freak Me a certified dance floor jam! Track three, 'Makes Me Happy', is a sax and piano infused number with a lively beat and hefty bassline, replete with soaring vocal hits and a fervent pulse that will get any crowd moving. Topping things off is the super funky 'So Good', with its soulful vocal stabs and hypnotic organ riff driving the tune ever onwards and upwards. Add in lashings of sax and strings, and So Good becomes the perfect finishing track for this absolute vibe of an EP!

After quite a while of live performances together, the trio of Andreu Moya, Eider Blanco & Pedro Moya, as Round Shaped Triangles announce their overdue “Set Me Free” EP on Sub_Urban label slated for 10 March 2017. Despite channelling from their different backgrounds, the synergy is brought to the fore with their production.

Laid on a deep house foundation, “Set Me Free”, a soulful & endearing piece by the Balearic based talent. A well thought out patient build up, lets the mesmerizing vocals sink over a gentle chords progression,addressing unanswered questions of love & its dark shades of lies. 

Enlisting the decorated Scott Diaz for the “Jazz Shaped Dub” brings out a funky & muscular side to the title track. What a beauty!

An exciting & subtly curated EP, the Round Shaped Triangles adds energy with “Used To”, with rawness & tapping to the house roots with a disco feel.

Quite varied & refreshing for a debut EP closed off with “Acid Chords”.  An alluring bumper, with a hovering & pulsating electronic bass as the group keep their line of jazzy, Detroit inspired house music and pulsating disco groove. 

The diversity should be noted as a sincere ode to the house & dance music culture.
 “Set Me Free” EP will be availed on all digital platforms.

Since developing his artist name in 2014, dance music legends Todd Terry, Armand Van Helden, Kenny Dope have all championed Ant LaRock for his abilities, through each collaborating with him and by Kenny personally putting Ant into the ballot for the 2018 Grammy Award nominations. Ant has toured the world and released on labels including Ministry Of Sound, Snatch, Get Physical, Lumberjacks in Hell and Nervous Records, showcasing his range of production talent on major and underground labels. Ant additionally hosts a monthly radio show on industry respected media platform Data Transmission Radio, where he explores house music through playing tracks, interviewing friends/colleagues and much more. He also has a monthly article in Magnetic Magazine providing studio production advice. Ant also has close relationships with longstanding music artists Riva Starr, Junior Sanchez, Roland Clarke who all call on Ant for his producing support on a daily basis!
