I was playing Simcity on my old laptop (via SNES emulator)and all the sudden the game glitched.  Acoustically, I found the looping glitch quite beautiful, listened to it for a few minutes and then realized I should record it before my laptop shuts down.  I tried a few things but unfortunately do not possess a PCM recorder.  So tape deck it was.  I had that for a few months on tape and decided to digitalize it and try something with it.  I´m happy with the results, hope you will be too!

Simcity Fucked Up

This is kind of an cover/adaptation of... Kylie Minogue... ahem.
Minogue´s song is called ``Closer``.  A friend sent me a link to ytoube to check it out and he was right, the chord progression and overflowing pathos is right up my alley.  I can´t get sued for that right?

I have been made a lot of Genesis/Megadrive (sample based) tracks this summer.  I just released a 10 song album called ``Blazing Force``, which is available on CD or mp3 on the internet which amounts to the better tracks from the summer.  
This little loop was my first try at getting in the spirit of japanese Shmups which graced the Genesis/MG and although being short, I think it has good ``guts``, if you know what I mean...

The eight track on the fabulous NES/VRC6 Konami soundtrack of the game MADARA.

I decided to make a few remixes for practice´s sake, I took the original track and looked where I can add chords, or drums, or synths. 
I went a little overboard adding so much FM synths and stuff, but hey, experiments...

Madara track 8 Remix

Another great soundtrack, on GameBoy.  The original is a great example of how ingenious Sunsoft´s soundtrack were, I like most of theme, on the NES and GB.  I always heard another melody harmonizing on the original one when I listened to it, so I added one.  Also added NES drums (dpcm) amd some other samples from various NES extensions (FDS, VRC7).  
Also I added another part.

Batman Gameboy track 4 Remix

I love this soundtrack, it is probably the one I have listened to the most since I´ve started to listen to video game music.
This remix is a bit of an improvisation, the original loop is quite short, and very generous in it´s accompaniment possibilities.
The original game is on TurboGrafx 16 (Pc Engine), and is the sequel to dragon Spirit, if anybody knows the franchise.
