I always name my mixes as there tends to be a distinct feeling & connection to where my head is at when I record live.  Cura Di Nuovo is a combination of this as well as a nod to the closing track (a cover of CCCP by @ninabelief) which I've been listening to on repeat and I have officiously dubbed a SHAME! anthem....

This set was recorded live @TheLotRadio for the SHAME! ( @ shame.nyc ) takeover of the @lostsoulenterprises 07.22.25 ahead of our party 07.26.2025.  SHAME! is a monthly event conceived of by L.Sangre and now supported by collaborator Liz Wendelbo of Xeno & Oaklander.

SHAME! is a collaboration between L.Sangre & Liz Wendelbo centered around cold/dark•wave•synth•industrial music on a monthly basis. Its aim seeks to extend beyond a club night to embody a concept of “a gathering of senses” and harken back to a more raw era/feeling. It is equal parts a vehicle for Sangre & Wendelbo’s visual+art explorations and each event, the 2 incorporate their cumulative works as film, video collage, & more projected in the space during the night. The sound of someone slamming a door startles my hand just as I was going to draw on my right eyebrow. Interruptions NEVER happen doing my first side, but fate will have it applying the twin is ALWAYS an issue. It never gets any easier does it? The more times you do it, the quicker you get, the more confident the stroke, that split second before you put the needle to the record, time always stops. It's in this psychic space, the moment before the liquid liner tip hits those freshly opened pores that everything can fall apart. And guess what? Today I am not gonna do it. The pencil just loomed there, my face falsely lit younger by my vanity mirror. I look into my own eyes, caught in time. I lean back, the sound of Casio RZ-1 snares filling me with courage to do something crazy. The first line is never expected to be perfect, it doesn't have to conform. Unbalanced? Maybe. It doesn't have to speak to anyone and seems to hold greater power alone than with a partner. Besides, some days this is warpaint, nothing else. These streets might be full of people playing a part they didn't memorize the lines for, but not me. I am out here, headphones on, scars and blush, hyphenating names to match my transmutations. Yesterday was a slight curl on both ends, like the sharp tip of a decorative blade. Yesterday, I could have drawn blood if I needed to. Today I just say a one sided fuck you.

The baroness of sludge and eroticism, the Vampira of "techno", the Elvira of acid... she's been called many things but who the hell is she?

L.Sangre was originally hatched in the gothic swaps of Miami and marinated/refined in the realness of New York for a bit over a decade, wherein the last half she's dj'ed here,around and beyond.

Rhythmic proclivities, acidic elements, and the ebb and flow of industrial roots to name a few, all inform the influences she draws from in her past to drive her present.

In 2018 she and Silent Servant paired up to produce releases as their project Limit-Xperience, and their two EPs were released under her Orden Extatica label.  Locally, she is a resident dj for the Lost Soul Enterprises crew and party series that pops up with in various locations around Brooklyn (most recently by way of a Good Room residency). ? 

Often disenchanted with the current state of popular techno affairs, she finds community with the real ones and mutant family she finds intermittently throughout the musical journey across the country and world.  appropriately honoured to contribute to the L.I.E.S. series as a result.
