Closing America's Largest Landfill, Without Taking Out The Trash

During one of our training sessions to be an editor at the Daily Bruin we were asked to quickly find a story and tell it through multiple mediums. Our group chose to tell the story through photos, a print piece and this radio story. Because it was just a training exercise it was never published, but I think it's a good example of finding an interesting person with a funny story and completing it on a quick turnaround (it was produced in one night). 

The person being interviewed is UCLA grad student Jake Muhleman. He tells the story of an undergraduate art project that started out as a joke but turned into something more.
