Mind and Body, out March 15th on Gravitas Recordings, is a true testament of Zingara’s sound. Gaining traction non stop between going on the road with SubDocta for his “Strictly No Business” tour, announcing support for Subtronics’ ‘Cyclops Rocks’, and continually going viral on TikTok, she is a quickly rising force in the underground bass scene. Inspired by her love of spirituality and witchcraft, she seamlessly makes waves from start to finish in her first ever EP.

Kicking off the EP, the title track, “Mind & Body”, talks about the separation between the mind and the body, and what that leaves us and how that opens up peoples minds to the infinite possibilities of the universe. Each song incorporates dark and light elements, telling its own story. 

“It is a place in your mind that you can achieve through meditation where there is nothing. Like a blank slate. When you get to this peaceful place in your mind, it is almost like a reset.” -Zingara

“Mind and Body” introduces the EP with mystical vocals, building up to an anticipating hard-hitting drop that strikes with punchy kicks and mind-shattering bass, getting the listener submerged from the very start. “Spell on You” creates a wicked atmosphere encompassing soft spoken vocals, slowly leading us into the drop that’s packed with grimy bass, taking us to another dimension. As if it couldn’t get any heavier, “Deeper” takes us to a darker element filled with powerful bass, leaving you to not focus on anything else other than how it feels. “Magick is Real” incorporates fluttery elements, embracing ethereal sounds that translate to gut-punching bass that perfectly shows off Zingara’s versatility.
