This event acted as a fundraiser to help provide donations to those severely affected by the devastating Palisades and Altadena fires in California.

Superwave EP: 
Following up on the drops from Gyrofield and Tim Reaper, Low End Activist arrives on Best Intentions with four mutant workouts up-cycled from dormant projects and moulded into weighty, outer limits club gear.
 
Low End Activist is best known for his sizeable output across Sneaker Social Club, Peak Oil and his own LEA label, where he twists grime and dubstep structures to gnarly, tweaked soundscapes indebted to dystopian sci-fi and social realism. Stepping up to Kasra's Best Intentions label, he tries a different approach by combing back through his archives of samples and stems and piecing together tracks with a sharp, surgical intent. 
 
In a canny display of stop-start dynamics, the A side comes through resolutely moody between the minimal, eerie atmospherics of ‘Wave ’01 and the dislocated vocal trickery and half-step pressure of ‘Wave 02’. On ‘Wave ’03 you can hear the click and crunch of early days Perlon and the rudeboy swing of El B, while the drums on ‘Wave ’04 lock into the mechanical rotation of Gescom as a counterpoint to the enduring hardcore influence coursing underneath the surface of the track.

Local legend at clubs like Southern Nights, the industry certified producer and performer has worked on Kelela’s latest project and played direct support for Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour. In this mix, Cabias shares his sounds with us on the heels of a pop star year and his Asiatic debut in Japan.

L$F is a Singapore-born DJ and artist rooted in the queer circuits of Nipaluna/Hobart, Australia. Her sets traverse a wide sonic spectrum, moving through fragmented edits, bass-heavy pressure, polyrhythmic percussion, and moments of melodic intensity. Her selections draw from a wide range of global and contemporary club influences, spanning baile funk, reggaeton, afrobeats, jungle, breakbeat, electro, house, and techno.

She has performed at Australian festivals including Dark Mofo, Mona Foma, and Junction Arts Festival, and has supported artists such as Bloody Mary, Roi Perez, MikeQ, I. JORDAN, and The Illustrious Blacks. In recent seasons, she has expanded her presence in Central Asia, with performances and growing ties to the dance communities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
