Martrell Webb is a 28-year-old West Aurora High School alumni born in Chicago, IL later moving to Aurora at the age of eight where mom felt was a better fit. He feels not only should social justice be accountable for by the adult citizens in Aurora but favoring performing arts for the youth. Although he comes from a musical background family Webb dealt with having to make at least five beats a day after finishing homework at the age of 13 that him and his father agreed on after purchasing Martrell’s first beat machine. Later he comes focus more on acting while in college for broadcasting having his on radio show on Windy City Underground being mentored by January 2012 eighth best radio host J.R. Bang. After taking a core acting class at Acting Studio Chicago learning the fundamentals he knew that not only was it meant for him but felt that his music and acting align with one another. However, with a meaty acting resume and helpful talent agency, Martrell believed he wasn’t working on enough film projects so he went ahead and invest in his own short film project name after his hometown slogan ‘City of Lights’ which not only he acts in, music supervises and writes for but handles scouting locations making sure familiar landmarks are getting recognition. Being that he’s a former reality star on 3rd season of hit tv series ‘Friendzone’, he feels that not enough African-American youth are being told that it’s not only a dream to be on national television but a reality. In conclusion, with his famous marketable trend ‘MakeThatTrellFace’ and charisma optimist attitude he hopes to capture more audiences all worldwide and especially the kids of our future that just like him, wants to be heard.
