Written when I was 17 or 18?? WOW! This is a really hard to do...perform straight through..no way to cut/paste the good parts. Just getting this out there for a friend that requested it awhile ago. Not sure when I'll be able to record it with GOOD equipment. Can't wait to, though!! (C) 1988

This is one of those songs that I feel has great lyrics...just really difficult to perform. Went through two different strumming/picking patterns. This is the only recording that had consistency. Once again, a very rough draft recording. I wrote this for a friend that lost his wife in 2011. Well, mostly I wrote it for his four kids. Their situation made me think, if I passed away suddenly, what would I want my little guy to know: that I didn't mean to go...that I'm so sorry I had to...but, I'm still there for him...just like their mom is still there for them whenever they need her. Again Crappy recording. Love the lyrics...this song has so much to say about life and treating others well and how our environment is part of making us who we are and how we feel. I know I keep saying it, but I can't wait to record this professionally! This has a few hiccups, however it was the best out of the several times I recorded it. This is a song that the first line, along with the complete melody and bridge just came to me. As I began writing, I had an idea of how I wanted it to go, but needed some input about guy's fashion. Well, a friend not only gave me the info I needed to write the song, but because of his "GQness", he ended up being my muse for it. So thank your Ryan!!! This is for you;-) (c) 2012

This is a spoof about coffee. I don't drink coffee..rather a tea girl myself, but my friend Vicki said she needed an upbeat coffee song so I changed the words to "Hey There Mister" to fit the bill. I had to record it so many times I can't count...so this is the best that I could come up with:-) (c)2012

I wrote this song to help remind each other that what we do to other people could have an impact..even when we think it trivial. Hey Friend!

I love writing music. Even though I wrote a bit in my late teens, I lost my way over the years. Then, after learning guitar for a college class 2 years ago, the sleepy songwriter has awoken once again.

I'm a folk gal. Love it. Harry Chapin is my long time influence and Ray LaMontagne's music is my current love. I know that if ever I reach the ability of crafting a song that is even 1/4 that of their incredible talent, I will have written an awesome song.

I hope that my songs may touch you. May find a way to express and voice how you feel. That they may give you an outlet or maybe just transport you to a place where you need to be at that moment:-)

I write these songs to connect with you even though I may never know your name or shake your hand. Know that I appreciate your support, but mostly I hope that in this incredibly screwed up world, we can all still be connected through music!

PS With the exception of a couple done at a friend's studio, my recordings are home ones with crappy equipment and I am forced to try to play the entire song straight through. This equals very sore fingertips and a hoarse voice once accomplished. 

I'm not looking to get famous...just want to write. It is my outlet and I finally feel truly alive again. I hope everyone gets as much pleasure out of recording their music as I do. Rock on!!!! Peace and love;-)
