Well, we don't need to say much about this duo. Johannes Albert was already part of this podcast series some time ago, further he has already remixed Blindsmyth for his debut album on CS. Following up on his album with Iron Curtis whose sound we basically love since decades, we have invited both of them to our radioshow that we have once a month saturdays on Radio Bremen Next. La Carte Blanche du Chapiteau : donner la parole à celleux qui ne chantent pas.

"Adeptes de rythmes afro, arabes ou encore italo, on a voulu montrer ici une autre couleur, une sélection de pépites sirupeuses à souhait. Un mélange de techno, de voix impérieuses et d’acid, soit tout ce qu’il faut pour déchainer les corps et les esprits. On espère que ça vous fera mouiller le maillot, bande de coquines ! Une intro toute en classe -une fois n’est pas coutume- avec le légendaire Cajmere, qui sait faire monter la pression comme personne, que le bien nommé Bling d’Autoerotique s’empresse de faire exploser. Le morceau suivant est un hommage lascif à Pepper Labeija, un des univers fétiche de Schlag et Jolie : sombre et kinky. S’enchaine ensuite une de nos dernières obsessions, Madame Deena Abdelwahed, prodige de la techno breaké subtile et énervante de talent. S’en suit un banger des bas-fonds proposé par un GetCosy plein d’humour, pour revenir sur nos premiers amours de toujours, les beats qui sentent la sueur et les banquettes moites, coucou LSXOXO et Nasser Baker.
And to presque finish Geeeman, une de nos balles un peu rétro (you’re welcome) et bien sûr, le dernier tube de notre Jean Brock d’amour, qui nous a laissé sa track gratos."  - Schlag & Jolie

Red Axes have just dropped the recording of a very special 5 hour set in Room 2. Now available to stream, this exclusive recording from this time last year is a deep-dive into the staple sound of the punk-edged duo.

Made up of Tel-Aviv Based producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik & Niv Arzi, Red Axes have been more than catching our eyes and ears over the past few years.  So much so, we’re keen to share our passion for the duo elsewhere, even taking them to other venues such as Village Underground for another special extended session earlier this year.

The pair have roots in rock music and begun their creative collaboration when they were in a band together. So perhaps it is unsuprising that today, their electronic music projects delve into a sound that roams through psychedelic electronica, post-punk and new wave elements, often dipping into a retro rock and 80’s hued sound that first fuelled their sonic spark.

Dan’s approach to a set is illusive, as his love for music has no limits, and his long experience in endless dancefloors through the years taught him one thing – Expect the unexpected. 

From Jerusalem & Tel Aviv’s clubs & bright rooftops, to Berlin’s dark voids and back. 

Lt.Dan’s journey as a DJ began as a promoter for legendary clubs Haoman17 & Block Club, where he absorbed the old-school, patient approach to DJ sets, while constantly feeling the pulse of the dancefloor.
In 2006, Dan started DJing with Legotek group, an infamous crew rocking Tel Aviv rooftops and clubs, and later formed his own Freaktion, an international collective of artists hosting legendary nights the city’s best venues such as the block, Breakfast Club, Bootleg, Deli & many more. 

After settling in Berlin in 2014, Dan became a member of Berlin’s Ritter Butzke, co-founded the weekly Donnersducks parties with DJ & Producer Tripolitan, formed the deja groove with the Tropical Camel while touring Europe’s finest dancefloors.
After 5 Berlin years, Dan came back to Tel Aviv, launching his “Delight” pop-up parties, while managing the booking & promotion of Jerusalem’s super cave Pergamon Club.

2021 marked the beginning of a successful partnership with Producer, DJ & musical icon Nadav Ravid: “<120”:
Conceptual parties focusing on the slower side of the dancefloor, following a direct path set by the famous “A Love From Outer Space” parties, founded by Andrew Weatherhall & Sean Johnston, who was a guest for 2 times since the parties started. 

As a DJ, Dan avoids precise settings and constantly moves through light and dark, fast & slow, and focuses on the feeling on the floor.
