Feinstoff regular Tallac is a producer and DJ from San Francisco. He found his love for synth music at an early age, obsessing over the soundtracks of 80s sci-fi movies like The Running Man, Akira, Blade Runner, and Dune, before finding his way to proper dance music during his teens in the late 90s. Through his tracks, he tries to capture that formative love of all things analog and outer space into songs and sets that feel simultaneously lost in time and pushing beyond the infinite.

In the United States, Tallac saw success with indie rock and bloghouse remixes throughout the early 2010s and played his eclectically-flavored sets at venues and warehouse parties in San Francisco, New York, and Burning Man, bringing the sounds of outer space to eager listeners hoping to find new homes in distant galaxies.

Now living in Berlin and focusing on an Italo and Space Disco sound, he’s seen singles and remixes released on AEON, Ritmo Fatale, and Sinchi Collective, and played sets at some of Berlin’s finest: Re:mise, Bulbul, and his recurring Italo Disco residency at Palabra Bar in Friedrichshain.

Peace... Peace is a back-alley gambler. It bets against the odds, cheats the deck, and shows up only when it’s sure the coast is clear. It’s not noble, not brave—just a tired old bastard waiting for the dust to settle. Peace doesn’t march in with a brass band; it sneaks in like a stray cat, quiet and unassuming, curling up in the rubble when no one’s looking.

Don’t let the Hallmark cards fool you—peace isn’t pure. It lets the war play out, lets the screaming and bloodshed run their course, and only then does it emerge, smug and self-satisfied. It doesn’t fix anything; it just stands there, shrugging like, “What? I didn’t do this.”

But when peace finally shows up, you don’t care how it got there. You grab it with both hands and hold on for dear life. Because peace, for all its cowardice, is the only thing that lets you breathe. It’s the moment when the world goes quiet and, for once, you’re not fighting to survive. And in that silence, everything feels possible.

Pour ce numéro 169, entre rythmes et notes, @maddrod incarne la curiosité qui sommeille en Rodrigo Pinheiro (c'est son vrai nom). Originaire de Lisbonne, DJ, producteur et directeur d'Inner Shah Recordings, il défie les frontières entre les genres de la musique électronique grâce à une approche à la fois nostalgique et avant-gardiste. Installé à Berlin depuis 2022, il a redécouvert son identité à travers un son rétrofuturiste qui a culminé avec son deuxième album studio, Sad Behaviour (2023) – une plongée robuste, punk et intime dans le passé, tournée vers l'avenir. Après sa sortie, il a passé un court séjour au Portugal, renouant avec la scène club du pays, créant sa série d'événements, Panthera, et travaillant sur Sad Behaviour: Expanded Edition (2024), qui a ajouté quatre nouveaux singles à l'album.
Son dernier album, l'EP Make You Sweat, sorti sur Inner Shah en février 2025, prouve qu'il maîtrise parfaitement la recette de ce mélange de genres. Rétro, brut et implacable, son son donne le pouls du mouvement.

Originally from Romania, yet reborn on Berlin’s queer dance floors, Anaté blends her classical piano upbringing with a strong passion for dancing to bring rhythm and emotion into her sets. Shaped by 90s-00s influences, Anaté’s sound combines driving, percussive grooves, and dub-tinged elements for a deep, sultry dance-floor experience. Having shifted from songwriting and singing to DJing, she now weaves her voice more and more often into her mixes for an even deeper connection with the crowd.

01 Digital Wasteland v1

Sonic, metallic, organic - Slow & fast

Through illusive approach, Dan's musical spectrum is wide and reflects through his vast dancefloors experiences.

From Jerusalem & Tel Aviv’s clubs and rooftops, to Berlin’s dark voids and back - Dan’s journey began in legendary clubs Haoman17 & Block, where he soaked the minerals needed to approach DJ sets, while feeling the pulse of the dancefloor.

In 2006, Dan joined "Legotek" , an infamous crew rocking Tel Aviv rooftops and clubs, only to later form his own "Freaktion" - collective of artists rocking nights on the city’s best venues: The Block, Breakfast Club, Bootleg, Deli & many more. 

After settling in Berlin in 2014, Dan became a member of the notorious Ritter Butzke crew, co-founding the weekly "Donnersducks" parties with DJ & Producer Tripolitan, and the "deja groove" concept parties with Tropical Camel, all while touring weekly around Europe’s finest dancefloors.

2019 marked the return to Tel Aviv, launching “Delight” pop-up parties, and managing booking & promotion of Jerusalem’s super cave Pergamon Club.

Mid 2021 Dan began a successful partnership with Producer, DJ & musical icon Nadav Ravid: “<120” : Conceptual parties focusing on the slower side of the dancefloor, drawing inspiration from the famous “A Love From Outer Space” parties, founded by Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston.

As a DJ, Dan avoids genre definitions, while constantly shifting between light & dark, fast & slow, focusing on the feeling
