Following the great success of Detroit Swindle's "Boxed Out" Album we present you the second single take out. Their collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne on “64 Ways" already gained massive support from DJ's and radio stations around the globe in the past weeks and we're proud to present you this remix pack with none other than Kerri Chandler, Kraak & Smaak and Detroit Swindle's remix of Detroit Swindle (Inception anyone?).

It's an honor to have one of the godfathers of House: Kerri Chandler on remix duties. He has been a great supporter of the guys over the past years, often showing off his piano skill over "Guess What" and generally supporting a lot of The Swindlers tunes. He turned the original version of "64 Ways" in a true Kerri "Kaoz" Chandler tune with the use of his trademark key progressions and drums. Don't miss out on the instrumental if vocals aren't really your thing.

The second remix is done by the guys themselves and oh boy what a monster tune it is! Stripped down to just a few basics from the original, adding a lovely filtered key loop, they made a deep dance floor burner in true Swindle style: "swing, drop, and everything else".

As a final to this fine remix pack we asked fellow Dutch house heads Kraak & Smaak to return the favor on the remix tip after Detroit Swindle remixed their track "The future is yours" with Ben Westbeech. They came up with a full on Disco House stomper, with a bass line that will stick with you for the rest of the day and an irresistible disco feel.

Detroit Swindle - 64 Ways Feat. Mayer Hawthorne (Kraak & Smaak Remix) - Preview

Presenting the second single taken from Gabriele Poso’s forthcoming compilation on Mr Bongo, Ritmo Italiano ‘Unspoken Sounds of Italian Tamburo’. This original composition from Sardinian multi-instrumentalist, percussionist and producer, Gabriele Poso, is the track that gives the album its title, ‘Ritmo Italiano’. It pays homage to the Italian masters of percussion and drumming and was recorded to emulate the classics of their era. Using drum machines and tape recordings to provide the necessary warmth, the track is driven by funky bass and equally funky synths. As you would expect from Gabriele and a track on this compilation, masterful percussion is demonstrated throughout. A central element of the song, the many percussive layers combine and are played with a swing that gives maximum dancefloor energy. Add to that an undeniable ear-worm of a chorus, and there you have the sound of ‘Ritmo Italiano’.

Music For Dreams is proud to present the self-titled debut album from the young Danish trio Candidates Of Ebba, set for release on digital platforms on June 20.
 
Candidates Of Ebba consists of Mads-Emil Hammer (production and vocals), William Høst (production), and Ebba Roberta Andersson (vocals). Together they have managed to craft an original, soulful and thoughtful pop sound, drawing inspiration from genres such as R&B and ambient.
 
The predominantly laid-back, minimalist production is complemented by Ebba Roberta Andersson’s crystal-clear Danish vocals, which explore themes of youthful longing, fascination, and vulnerability in an immediate, personal language.
 
The album features ten tracks, five of which have already been released as singles.

The track is taken from the forthcoming second album by Danish guitarist Jonas Krag’ Santino Surfers project, which follows the success of the self-titled debut of ’23.
 
With ‘The Soul Echo’ Krag’s guitar mastery is on full display, with feathery streams of melody twirling around the loungy blues-rock groove for the full four minutes. Play it at after-dinner drinks or on the car stereo at sunset.
 
The album will be out on Music For Dreams on August 29.

The famous guitar solo that changed the lives of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Frozen Love catapulted the duo into the star line-up of Fleetwood Mac. This edit is pretty true to the original with some small tweaks, flourishes and some extra drums in the intro and outro. Here's hoping that Stevie and Lindsey plan on a reissue of this rare and beautiful album.
