Cut Up Methods

I was tempted to say "Djent version" but the rhythm's not complicated enough and there isn't enough syncopation.  Nu-Metal would've been more appropriate but then you would've rolled your eyes and dismissed this track.

This is my first test writing to an acapella/isolated vocal track.  Obviously, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) was responsible for the vocals for the lyrics and vocals and I wrote/arranged/programmed the music.  I am in no way affiliated with nor am I endorsed by Machine Gun Kelly and I sure hope he doesn't sue me.   

I hope no one finds this distasteful and repugnant to the ears.

It's a fake revue musical soundtrack about a hedonistic, purposeless city that God forgot. Each song is a glimpse at the various lives swallowed by Junk City.

Musically speaking, I was trying to go for a generally sleazy blend of punk(ish) rock, swing, kitschy jazz with a vaguely pop-like sensibility (scum pop, if you will).

Context: Compose/produce original music to a chase scene from the TV show Westworld. What you're listening here is only the music and I made painstaking efforts for the rhythm to match a lot of the movement on screen.
