Why does it sound like you are talking inside a pillow?

I feel like for talking loud, or screaming the mod mic is better but for just normal talking the ATH is better

I have this MIC. It always has a static loop humm...

Uni-directional (this one) cuts off more background noise, Omni-directional sounds better.

RIP high frequencies but my voice tends to leave a lot of 'esses' when it's recorded so it's probably a good thing.
