whenever i get the question what type of music im playing, my answer is always „house-type-off-stuff“. but since house music is such a broad term, it’s always much easier for me to start describing the more niche subgenres here like deephouse or speedhouse. 'chilled jazzy house beats for coffee time' or 'bouncy uptempo edits to dance to' usually do the job pretty well.

but the mother of those styles, the core of it all - the classic ‘house’ - is something i never find the right words for…

when i put this set together, i wanted to create a mix of what i define as the essence of house music. mojito motions is about coming back to the roots of empe3.
