Lately I've really had a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to remixing Sonic 2's soundtrack, won't say what for but my experience surrounding it was poor. So I decided to just forget about it and remake the tracks again in my own way and to show Sonic 2 itself some love.

Heya, here's another S3 proto track! This week it's Launch Base 1! ^o^

When I first heard this tune in the proto, I actually didn't like this tune whatsoever. The melody and countermelody both took up 2 channels each which is really wasteful. The base composition is fine though, so I reworked it to better use the Mega Drive setup and bring out how good the tune actually is!

The goal of this remixing project was to make the beta tracks sound a lot more finished than they were in the beta. To be fair to the originals, they were in a beta state however I still wanted to tackle these tracks anyway since they're full on bops! :P

For all of the S3 proto remixes, I used VOPM and SN-EMU whilst keeping strictly to the Mega Drive's limits (for compatibility's sake).

I got the chance to compose two more tracks for A.NB for Harinezumi Framework. This one is currently being used on the Gamemaker Studio version of the Framework. I wanted to establish connections between the new tracks, and the existing one. I'll upload the Menu track later!
