Vsoundz - Horizons

K.Dizzy, a bass enthusiast from Byron Bay (NSW, Australia), has established herself as a mistress of bass house, neurofunk, and drum and bass. Her sets, known for their versatility, are meticulously tailored to create the perfect atmosphere for any event.

As a founding member of the Clitoverse, K.Dizzy is dedicated to supporting female artists and performers in the industry. She has showcased her talent at prominent festivals such as Earth Frequency, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Subsonic Music Festival, and Elements Festival. Additionally, she has played parties hosted by Byron DNB and the Sweatshop Volumes Series and performed a live set on Bay FM's Spin Sisters Friday night edition.

K.Dizzy was slated to perform at the 2024 Splendour in the Grass in the Tipi Forest, although the event was unfortunately cancelled. Thus far in her DJ career, she has supported notable artists including Father Funk, The Sponges, Moodswing and Chevy Bass, Shapeless, Flowidus, and KOAN Sound.

Forest Bump @ Curiosity 2024

The Funnel-Web Debate are back! 2 hours of ground-shaking sound system music to make your body move in all the right places. 

@twilightgal and I used to DJ together regularly as a part of RPK in Sydney; devastating dance floors in warehouse raves, clubs and doofs. I moved away and soon it was almost 5 years since we’d played a set together. 

We finally got to reunite and bring the bass to Synergy Festival in lutruwita/Tasmania last December (2023). It was so damn satisfying. Our set was from 11pm to 1am and went by in a flash. 

We came in with a loose plan around vibe and tempo changes but had the space to freestyle. Both of us went deep into a flow state, working off each other, showcasing our favourite tunes, and pushing the whomping Grounded Sound to its limits. The dance was absolutely heaving. 

When we finished were both like “what just happened?” 

We didn’t manage to record it, so Dillon came back to visit and we spent about 5 days in a Launceston Bass Cave recreating the set. We were a little cheeky and moved a few things around, but the essence of that night is here in these two hours. 

We hope you get even a fraction of the enjoyment listening to this mix as we did playing it.

Once again, this is heavyweight sound system music that may cause damage to your soul if not played at an appropriately high volume with a disgusting deep sub. It is not designed to be listened to while stationary, so embody the bass and find those angles!
